GPS Features
Each Series 100 Router features an embedded 12 channel GPS receiver which simultaneously supports the transmission of NEMA, TAIP, and Link’s enhanced "L" packet formats. GPS position and sensor data can be stored and forwarded over wireless networks to a secure server for vehicle mapping and sensor status and control. GPS data is also made available over RS-232 and wired Ethernet enabling the use of off-the-shelf street mapping software on a mobile data computer and providing accurate time, position, speed, and directional information to a mobile digital video recorder.
Flexible Modem Support
The S100 Router can be configured to support up to two internal PC Card and one Mini PC Card data modems and two external RS-232 data modems. Link’s exclusive intelligent environmental and power control system extends the operating temperature range of off-the-shelf PC Card data modems down to -20°C providing investment protection through flexible modem configurations as wireless standards and pricing plans evolve. Inputs & Outputs
The S100 Router features digital and analog I/O allowing for centralized monitoring and control of connected sensors and controllable devices using Link’s easy to integrate "L" packet format. The optically isolated digital inputs can be used to monitor connected sensors such as ignition and panic, and the remote controlled digital outputs can be used to control On/Off type of peripherals such as door locks and ignition disable. The analog inputs allow the remote monitoring of temperature and voltage type measurements.
6 Optically Isolated Inputs (+6V - 30VDC)
3 Sink to GND Outputs
2 Pulse Sense Inputs
2 Analog Inputs (0 - 50VDC)Single Wire Harness Connection
Ethernet, RS-232 and digital I/O connections are made through a single wire harness for ease of installation and maintenance.
Remote Management
Built-in Web based configuration software and an intelligent embedded boot loader enables the S100 to be easily managed and updated using a remote wireless connection or a local Ethernet connection.
