Link Communications, Ltd., Inc. (Link) was established in 1985 as a Maryland, USA company to perform RF design work for the military, and repair/calibration of telecommunications equipment for telephone companies. During 1994 and 1995 Link introduced its first set of telecommunications products; Net-Xcess, a PBX test set, 147DSP aerial fault locator, and the Seeker-Jr, buried fault locator. Since 1996 the Company has been engaged in design, development, and short run manufacturing of DSP, microprocessor, GPS, and RF/microwave communications products.

Market Focus
Link's current technology and product development efforts have been driven by utility, government, and private-fleet market requirements for automatic vehicle location (AVL), wireless communications, computing hardware and software products. These products are used for the purposes of improved management, through tracking, monitoring, voice communications, and/or data exchange with vehicles, remote assets, and/or field personnel.

Link's AVL Product line consists of a family of open, modular, feature rich, low cost, and proprietary architectures that can be configured to meet a very broad range of market performance, and cost requirements. The product line is currently anchored by the VehiLink Series, a very versatile and flexible platform, that can be configured to support the most basic to very complex AVL requirements.

Link's competitive advantage is in its technologies such as: multiple communications channels, single wire antenna (e.g. cellular AMPS, GPS, and Panic Radio in a single antenna); highly accurate and fast GPS algorithms, automatic remote update of firmware/software revisions, and equipment diagnostics.
